Asterix the Wolf spotted in the Port of Antwerp
Striking images have emerged of a wolf in the Port of Antwerp. The creature was spotted calmly wandering around on the busy Noorderlaan.
The organisation ‘Welcome Wolf’ says the animal comes from the Netherlands and is looking for new living space. The wolf that has been named Asterix is said not to be a threat to people but could attack small livestock. People rearing sheep or ponies in the vicinity of the port should take their precautions.
