Belgians can look forward to a new style passport.  No, it’s not going blue, but the scenes of buildings that embellish inside pages are being replaced by drawings of famous Belgian comic strip stars: Tintin, Willy and Wanda and the Smurfs.  The new Belgian passport enjoys improved protection against forgery.  It includes 48 different security techniques. That’s double the present number!
