“Wallonia needs to do more for Ukrainian refugees”

During the 9-month war in Ukraine millions of Ukrainians have fled their country.  60,000 have ended up in Belgium.  Each day around 70 new people arrive but finding accommodation is a growing problem.  Temporary accommodation is full.  Some refugees have to spend the night at the South Station or rely on accommodation for the homeless.  Brussels’ Ukraine coordinator Peter Michiels says Wallonia is not pulling its weight.
