Camera to check your age trialled at newsagents (VIDEO)

Cigarettes, tobacco, games of chance, all on sale at newsagents, but you do need to be 18. The shopkeeper has to check your age and your ID when he’s in doubt. ID checks lead to problems because not everybody wants to cooperate.  To avoid disputes and possible violence a new machine is being trialled and evaluated.  Then it could be rolled out across the country.
