Firearms and other weapons found in Brussels shopping mall

The police in Brussels have found 1,500 weapons, including fire arms during checks on 20 shops in the Agora Gallery shopping mall just a stone’s throw away from the capital’s historical market square. Among the weapons discovered were replicas of airsoft-weapons, flick-knives, pepper spray and a machete.

On Tuesday officers from the Brussels-Capital-Elsene Local Police Services carried out searches of a number of shops where they suspected that illegal weapons and fake goods were being sold. In the Agora Gallery they found 1,500 weapons including 868 Airsoft firearms, 230 knuckle-dusters, 50 flick knives and a machete.
